Zac Efron has been praised for his work in the critically-acclaimed wrestling movie “The Iron Claw” (2023), where he portrayed professional wrestling legend Kevin Von Erich. While the film was a hit at the box office, and garnered Efron praise in what some critics called a “career-best performance”, the demands of the role saw the 36-year-old’s physical health take a hit.
“I fully commit to my roles, which I love, but it takes a toll — my back was messed up after The Iron Claw, even months after PT,” wrote Zac on his Instagram post.
Curious about stem cell therapies, the actor turned to Dr. Adeel Khan, a leading expert in regenerative medicine who has treated high profile athletes and celebrities, including Tony Robbins, actor/director Justin Baldoni, bodybuilder Chris Bumstead.
“Now, six months post-treatment, I’m back in the gym and already seeing improvements,” says Efron.
Dr. Khan has quickly become the go-to doctor for business elites and professional athletes, who are looking for alternatives to pain medication and painful surgeries with lengthy recovery times.
“Chronic lower back pain affects millions of people globally, and we finally have non-surgical solutions using the next generation of stem cells,” says Dr. Khan. “Chronic neck pain, back pain, and spine pain are often treated with surgery, and the issue is, it’s usually not effective.”
Non-invasive regenerative treatments can be used for daily pain, sports injuries, osteoarthritis, joint and musculoskeletal care, spinal and nerve revitalization, but it’s also becoming popular amongst celebrities aiming to look and feel their best. Dr. Khan’s growing client list is a who’s who of Hollywood stars (many of whom can’t be named because they don’t want the public to know their secrets to longevity)!
