Dr. Adeel Khan Says Farewell to Canada at Eterna Health’s Official Launch Party in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada

Written by: Maleeha Sheikh, Director of PR and Communications

“This is literally the beginning. I can only imagine where we will be in five years from now,” says the CEO and Founder of Eterna Health Dr. Adeel Khan.

The Eterna Health team celebrated the official opening of its first regenerative medicine clinic in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada on Thursday, September 12.

The atmosphere was celebratory but it was also bittersweet as Dr. Khan said goodbye to many of his long-time patients before his move to Dubai to open a brand new clinic.

More than 100 people were in attendance, including loyal patients, Olympians like Phylicia George and Alex Kopacz, fitness influencers like Jordan ShallowZehra Allibhai and Saman Munir as well as Internet personalities, such as The Hacksmith, Sana Zaid and Briony Douglas.

A question that kept popping up at the event was “why is Dr. Khan leaving?”

“If you’re crazy enough to think you can change the world, maybe you can. This is the only way I see it happening. I have to create a global footprint and Dubai has become a hub in its innovative nature. They allow for people who are innovators to succeed,” says Dr. Khan.

While his absence will be felt here in Canada, Dr. Khan has hand-selected the team of physicians that will be running the Eterna Health clinic here in Mississauga. A group of talented medical professionals who have been personally trained by the regenerative medicine leader.

“Here at this clinic we are providing personalized comprehensive care to people. We are using the highest technology that is available. We have very advanced ultrasound machines, x-ray imaging to treat people’s backs, talented sonographers and in-house physiotherapy. We put together all the details that make PRP work when in other places it doesn’t,” says lead Regenerative Medicine Physician and Medical Director Dr. David Smith.

Dr. Smith has helped hundreds of patients become pain free. People who have been misdiagnosed often come to him to get an answer. He finds their actual injury/health concern and is able to treat it correctly.

The best part about Eterna Health is not only do you get premium care from a medical doctor, but we also have a talented team of physiotherapists who can help patients on their ongoing healing journey.

Dr. Sunny Gandhi, Eterna’s Chiropractor and Neuro Functional Sports Practitioner has worked closely with professional athletes from around the world – often on complex cases that were untreatable at other clinics.

“This clinic showed me what the future of healthcare in Canada can look like. It’s where innovation meets compassion. We aren’t treating  symptoms but transforming lives. I’m fortunate to work on some of the most complex cases with some of the best doctors,” says Dr. Gandhi.

Dr. Prab Bassi is Eterna Health’s Interventional Orthobiologic and Genetic Therapy Specialist. He was heavily involved in new age medical research before he joined the team and has been hard at work implementing that knowledge into action for the past year-and-a-half.

“What brought me to Eterna was to get patients up and going in definitive ways. We didn’t just throw pills at them. We got them truly cured and healed. Regenerated their damage and kept them pain-free,” says Dr. Bassi.

The Minister of Small Business and Member of Provincial Parliament Nina Tangri was also in attendance and had this to say to Dr. Khan and the entire Eterna Health team: “We want to see more of what you are doing, we need more people in our communities here taking that challenge and saying we can do better. We can be healthier.

“There was laughter, there were tears but most importantly the evening consisted of one main message: hope. Hope for a future that isn’t dependent on drugs, hope for acceptance to alternative therapies that have the capability of truly fixing people and hope for people who have been failed by the traditional medical system to live pain free.

Dawn A., a long-time patient of Dr. Khan’s, tearfully shared how Dr. Khan has taken away most of her pain after other medical professionals told her to simply accept a life of living in extreme discomfort – the residual effects following a serious rollover car accident 17 years ago.

“Mostly he gives his patients genuine hope. I’ll be forever grateful to you for making the magic that you created here in this wonderful healing centre.” shares Dawn.

The Eterna Health team is seen at the Mississauga clinic on Thursday, Sept. 12.
